Visiting Prestwood LNR
The Reserve lies in a small rural valley, close to Prestwood, just to the west of Great Missenden and a few miles to the north of High Wycombe.
It is just behind the houses on Perks Lane, Prestwood, with the entrance to the Reserve (and its car park) a few yards on the right in Hampden Road.
By car, motorcycle or bicycle
From Great Missenden:
Take the A4128 to High Wycombe. After about 2 miles, take the road on the right, which is Perks Lane (opposite road signposted to Little Missenden). Follow Perks Lane to the end (t-junction) and turn right. The car park for Prestwood LNR is about 50 yds on the right, just past the last house.
From High Wycombe:
Take the A4128 to Great Missenden. Pass Cryers Hill and the Kingshills until reaching a sign on the right for Little Missenden, turn left here into Perks Lane and follow the directions above.

Great Missenden (Chiltern Line) approx 3¾ miles.
High Wycombe (Chiltern Line) approx 6 miles.
Arriva 48, High Wycombe ↔ Great Missenden (stopping near top of Perks Lane).
There are a number of pubs, cafés and restaurants closeby in Prestwood and Great Missenden, or you can bring your own refreshments, but please leave nothing but footprints!
Sheep occasionally graze the Reserve. Dog walkers are requested to keep dogs on a lead when the flock is present.
