Have a go at Nordic walking
Free and open to everyone to have a go

Have a go at Nordic Walking and support our campaign against the HS2 route through the Chilterns. Nordic walking is the fastest growing activity in the UK and is suitable for all ages.

From Friday 14 to Monday 17 June, the Chiltern Society is arranging a series of Nordic walks at various locations lead by experienced Nordic walking leaders. The events are FREE and open to the public, so please pass this on to any friends and family who would like to have a go. Each walk is suitable for all ages, will last about an hour and will include an introduction and warm up drills. Nordic walking poles will be supplied.

Places on each walk are limited and must be reserved in advance through the Chiltern Society office on tel. 01494 771250, or using the form at the bottom of this page.

The location for each walk is broadly along the route of the planned high speed rail route. The Chiltern Society is running a campaign against these plans which we believe will damage the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. If any participants at these Nordic walks would like to support this campaign, all donations will go to the Chiltern Society’s HS2 appeal to help us with the costs of the legal appeal to fight these proposals.

We would like to thank all the Nordic walk leaders for supporting us through these “Have a go at Nordic walking” events.
