Visiting Marlow Common

Marlow Common (North) Local Nature Reserve is about 1 mile to the west of Marlow, Buckinghamshire.

By car or motorcycle
• From the north: M40 junction 4, exit south for the A404. At its junction with the A4155 turn right towards Marlow. After about 1 mile turn right at the roundabout and head for Stokenchurch/Lane End. Take the 2nd turning on the left (Queens Rd), continue to t-junction with Oxford Rd, turn right. Continue on Oxford Rd (which soon becomes Chalkpit Lane) for just under a mile until a turning on the left which is signposted (on the right) for Marlow Common/Lower Woodend. An entrance to the Common is on the right opposite the row of houses on the left.
• From the south: A404(M) junction 9B, head for Wycombe A404. At roundabout turn left for Bisham/Temple. Continue through Bisham, over Marlow Bridge to High St. At end of High St (roundabout), turn left towards Henley/Medmenham, after about 150 yards/metres, take the 2nd turning on the right (signposted Bovingdon Green/Frieth). This is Oxford Rd. Continue along Oxford Road as described above.

By bicycle
•  From the north: At the M40 junction 4, head south on Wycombe Road (signposted Marlow Bottom). At mini-roundabout with no signs or road names, turn-right. This road is still Wycombe Road, continue along it until t-junction, then turn right onto Little Marlow Road (the A4155). At the next roundabout, turn right (signposted Stokenchurch/Lane End) and continue as described above.
• From the south: North of Maidenhead, at the A308 junction with the A404, head for Bisham. From here follow the description in 'By car or motorcycle' above.
