Visiting the windmill

In Lacey Green, Bucks, Lacey Green Windmill is open from 2-5pm, on Sundays and Bank Holiday Mondays, from the first Sunday in May to the last Sunday in September.

Adults £2. Children (5-15) years of age £1.
Entry is free for Chiltern Society members with a valid membership card.

Some mill-related goods are available. Please note that the mill has steep, narrow stairs and disabled access is very limited. There are no toilet or refreshment facilites, although The Whip pub, which also sells food, is right next-door.

Getting there

Car or motorcycle
Leave your vehicle in Pink Road near The Whip pub and use the track on the other side of the pub to reach the mill. The post code is HP27 0PG.

Public transport
Arriva bus route 300, High Wycombe ↔ Aylesbury, stops at The Whip. Details on Arriva's website.

Chiltern Railways' Princes Risborough, Monks Risborough and Little Kimble stations are 1½, 2½ and 3½ miles away respectively and close to the bus route. Visit their website for details.

On foot
The Chiltern Way passes within a few yards of the mill.
