Chequers Walk
There will be two walks to mark the last day of the HS2 Consultation:
Eco Walk
Meet at Wendover Train Station and leave at 10.30am. Walking to the Coombe Hill Monument.
Easy Walk
Meet at the Coombe Hill Car Park and leave at 11am to meet the Eco walk at Coombe Hill Monument.
After meeting at the Coombe Hill Monument, the two groups will then walk together along the Ridgeway and round the Chequers Estate to Ellesborough Church. From the Church they will go to the Russell Arms for lunch. After lunch there is the opportunity to visit the Chiltern Brewery and order the 'No HS2 across the Chilterns Ale'. The walk will return to Coombe Hill.
