The Fighting Fund

The Chiltern Society has created a Fighting Fund to help cover our costs in examining the issues and raising awareness of the HS2 threat.

We are asking for whatever financial support you feel you can offer for this vital campaign.

The Chiltern Society will put £5 from every new Single Membership fee and £10 from every new Family Membership fee into the Chiltern Society HS2 Fighting Fund to help the Society and our partner organisations.

Giftaid

As a charity, all contributions made by taxpayers will attract a gift aid repayment to the Society (and higher rate taxpayers will obtain higher rate tax relief as well).

We are lucky within the Society to have members with considerable professional expertise and they are offering their services in a voluntary capacity to prepare and publicise our case against the proposals insofar as they affect the Chilterns.

However, funds are required to prepare professional and technical reports and analysis and to employ consultants where necessary. In addition funds are required to support an effective promotional campaign.
