Our Walks Programme is designed as follows.

There is not a major stop on these walks, walkers are advised to carry sufficient refreshments for the whole walk; there is sometimes a pub visit at the end.

Alternative Day Walks – some Sundays and Wednesdays. Leaders Carole and Gordon Blockley – 791729 8334 or 78313909044. All circular and at the pace of the slowest walker. Walks open to Chiltern Society members and prospective members only. Walks have a short lunch break, so please bring a picnic, sufficient liquid and some 'iron rations'.

There will be a 30 minute stop for lunch which you should bring with you. Whole day walks include all parts of the Chilterns, including the less-visited parts in the North and East. The terrain can be difficult but the pace is adjusted to suit the least spry.

Members and non-members join the walks at their own risk, and are advised to carry their own first aid kits. Maps are available from our online Shop (see link above).
