Come along to The Mediterranean Nursery and learn how and what to plant to create a beautiful hanging basket to take home with you. The workshop will be followed by a cream tea in the café. Price includes a completed hanging basket and a cream tea. Don't forget you can use your membership card to get 10% off the cost of all plants and shrubs and selected gifts from the new gift shop.

This 2 hour ‘behind the scenes’ tour around The Chiltern Valley Winery, brewery and liqueur production facilities demonstrates a fun and extensive learning experience. The first hour is dedicated to touring the facilities and the second half sampling a selection of our fine wines, ales and liqueurs.

Join us in Captain’s Wood to test your survival skills. Working in family teams you will learn and practice bushcraft skills and techniques including fire lighting, shelter building and camp craft. We’ll also be toasting marshmallows on the fire.

Come to our open afternoon at Ewelme Watercress and enjoy a walk with Site Manager, Tom Stevenson around the delightful and historic wetland habitat that results from the production of watercress. See a charming old film depicting the processes involved in watercress growing and find out about the wildlife including birds, flowers and insects on site.

Join a private tour of this historic and enchanting Tudor Manor House with its Award Winning Gardens. Set in the charming estate village of Chenies in Buckinghamshire overlooking the Chess Valley. The house tour lasts approximately 45 minutes, after which you can enjoy the garden at your own leisure. Price includes tea or coffee and biscuits.

Join fitness expert Melissa Laing on a series of guided walks across the Chilterns. Walks will be between 3 and 5 hours in length and will be hilly with stiles.

The individual walks contained within our book, 50 Great Walks in the Chilterns, are now available to download via Viewranger – an exciting app that allows you to access trails and maps from your phone or tablet. Join us for a day of expert training on how to use the app followed by a walk to test out your new skills. Price includes tea or coffee and a biscuit. Please bring a packed lunch.
