Community liaison

The Society’s Community Liaison Group exists to relate to local community organisations, such as Parish Councils and local community groups, to foster contacts between those organisations and keep them involved in the aims and interests of the Chiltern Society, thereby also promoting a stronger sense of community.

Twice a year, the Chiltern Society circulates a newsletter specific to Community groups, which publicises key activities of the Society's individual groups and of the Chiltern Society as a whole.

The Society’s Don Millar Fund exists to offer small grants to community organisations undertaking practical work. See Activities > Community liaison > Don Millar Fund.
